How can apps and technology help your pub in July?
Pub gardens and venues with outside space are likely to be allowed to open first in July.
Councils may even allow you to use outside pedestrian space.
If you don't have outside space, 2m distancing between customers is going to reduce capacity. The 2m rule may be reduced to 1m (current WHO guidance) but the Government and Sage has yet to endorse this.
As well as the often listed safety items; sachet condiments on request only, cutlery provided by waiters and no standing at the bar. Providing a way for your customers to order food and drinks via their phone is going to become increasingly popular in the months ahead.
Not only does this protect and reduce staff contact with customers but also helps reduce order errors and speeds up service for all. We can help.
Mobile Ordering via our HungryFor service
Your customers can use their own phones to make their order for food and drink quickly online, and pay online too.
These orders can be approved by staff directly on the till, or sent straight to the drinks/kitchen screens and printers.
At a tap of a button your customers can reorder the round again! Increasing upsell opportunities.
HungryFor works on all browsers and can accept payment via PaymentSense, Stripe or Paypal.
If customers agree when using the service to promotional notifications, you’ll be able to send out emails and direct notifications directly to customers too.Want a branded app?
We can provide branded Android and iOS apps. Please get in touch.
Drinks dispense screens
No need to buy additional hardware, you can double up a second till as a drinks screen or use a receipt printer. If they’re unavailable, you can purchase an Android tablet to act as this screen, or have orders printed on a receipt/kitchen printer instead.
For restuarant settings, you may wish to consider using our Reservations system that will help you limit bookings and take deposits if needed.
